How can I deal with stress if I stop smoking?

When I was a smoker I said that

I needed cigarettes to deal with my

stress and anxiety. Many of my students

say the same thing.

First of all, Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor and

that means that it constricts the blood vessels

and causes the heart to work harder to

get the blood through.

As a smoker your heart will beat 10,000

more beats just because you smoke. If

your heart is pumping harder to get the

blood through then how can it relax you…

I know it seems like it does relax you

but it can’t if it is stressing your heart.

There are techniques to deal with stress

and anxiety like learning a deep breathing

technique or changing your routines when

you encounter a stressful situation.

I would like to give you an example of

a new way to deal with anxiety.

Be my guest at a sneak preview of

Nicotine Solutions and bring your

cigarettes.

The previews will be on
