I quit smoking June 4, 1978 and have been teaching others how to quit smoking and chewing ever since!

What words NOT to say when you are preparing to stop smoking or chewing.

What is the difference between saying I am going to “give up” cigarettes or I got rid of them.

If you “give up” something, do you want it back? SURE.

And if you want it back will you get it back? …SURE

If you got rid of really stinky, smelly garbage do you say I “gave up” the garbage…NO!

You got rid of it! You don’t want it back.

For women, it is like getting rid of the most abusive relationship that you have ever had let’s say Osama Bin Laden.

For men, it is like getting rid of a relationship with Lorena Bobbitt! (there’s a visual for you!)

Right now you think of cigarettes as being very precious and important

to you and I know it feels like you are about to “give them up”.

But just start to say I am going to be stopping smoking. I am going to be getting rid of this habit.

You don’t have to believe it just fake it till you make it. I show you how it is done.

I like this little saying by Frank Outlaw-

Watch your thoughts; they become words.

Watch your words; they become actions.

Watch your actions; they become habits.

Watch you habits; they become character.

Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

You will learn that you not giving up anything.

You are gaining freedom, peace of mind, calmness, money, health, stamina and better breath!
